Anna Groeninx van Zoelen
Anna Groeninx van Zoelen has been working for the last 30 years as senior EU-research consultant, firstly at Utrecht University, then at the University of Amsterdam and most recently, Leiden University. During that period, she has become an expert in all different aspects of the
European Research programmes. Her first successful EU project (1985) was on the Technology Transfer aspects of the Sprint programme
Since this time, Anna has been involved in the EU Framework programmes: awareness raising, pre-award, post-award, research policy development with universities, national and European level (LERU), and lastly she was engaged with Responsible Research and Innovation.
Alongside her day job, Anna has been involved with EARMA (European Association of Research Managers and Administrators) from the very beginning 25 years ago, and now acts as the organisation’s treasurer.
