Stefan Lux studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University. He then worked as research assistant at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) in the field of gear manufacturing technologies. After obtaining his Ph.D. in 1997 he worked for 11 years as head of product development in a Swiss company where from 2004 to 2009 Stefan was a member of the board.
In 2008, he obtained an “Executive MBA for Technology Managers”-degree from RWTH Aachen University and University of St. Gallen (HSG).
Stefan joined ETH transfer in September 2009 as Technology and Licensing Manager and has been a board member of swiTT (Swiss Technology Transfer Association) since 2017 and member of ASTP-Proton.
