Vincent Reuter gained a Master in Law from Liege University, before studying European Law at Ghent. Following a traineeship at the National Belgian Railway company, he started in 1980 a career at Société Carbochimique, a chemical fertilizer company which was taken over in 1987 by the Finnish group Kemira.
He occupied several positions in the group including: legal advisor, legal advisor Benelux, Director Human resources and Director Belgian subsidiaries, Director Materials coordination Benelux, Managing Director and CEO Kemira SA/NV, and Energy Manager Kemira Agro Benelux.
In 2002 he moved to Union Wallonne des Entreprises, (the Walloon business association) where he remained until September 2017. Since this time, he has been an advisor to the Walloon Minister President. He also holds several non-executive Director mandates in private companies.
